- Yoghurt (thick curd) – 1/2 cup

- Garam masala- 1/2 tsp
- Crushed chilli flakes – 1 tsp
- Mace and nutmeg powder (optional) – 1/4 tsp
- Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
- Green chillies (chopped, mild) – 2 tsp
- Coriander leaves – 4 tbsp
- Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Salt – as per taste
- Chaat masala
- Lemon wedges or lemon juice
- Butter/ghee for basting/brushing
