- 2 teaspoons ground coriander
- 2 teaspoons garam masala
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- 2 pounds boneless lamb shoulder or stew meat (cut into 1 1/2-inch chunks)
- 1/2 cup hot water
- Salt (to taste)
- Garnish: chopped fresh cilantro
- For Serving: Naan or steamed basmati rice
